Academic integrity is a guiding principle in education and a choice to act in a responsible way whereby others can have trust in us as individuals. It is the foundation for ethical decision-making and behaviors in the production of legitimate, authentic and honest scholarly work.

Chongqing No. 1 Secondary School believes that promoting academic integrity is the responsibility of the whole school community. In accordance with the IBO philosophy and the Learner Profile attitudes and attributes, the school acknowledges the importance of fostering academic integrity and principled behavior that demonstrates respect for the ideas and work of others.

By clearly communicating the expectations and protocols in relation to Academic Integrity, to all stake holders and community members, Chongqing No. 1 Secondary School further seeks to achieve both transparency and acknowledgement/endorsement by all involved.
